An allergy-aware QR code menu for your restaurant

A QR code can do more than open a photograph of a menu. With Can I Dine?™, it opens the restaurant's interactive menu, where guests can select allergies, dietary preferences, and ingredient restrictions before discussing their order with staff.

Prepare the information behind the QR code

Start by adding your menu and reviewing the dish details. Check ingredients, sauces, garnishes, available substitutions, and preparation notes. A guest's filtered results depend on the information the restaurant publishes.

Use the restaurant's branding on its guest page and QR code. Place the code where guests can find it, such as at the table or with the printed menu. Keep another way to discuss the menu available for guests who do not use a phone.

Let guests combine their dietary needs

Guests open the menu in their browser and select the needs relevant to their meal. They can combine multiple food allergies with dietary preferences and custom ingredient restrictions. The menu then shows suggested dishes, possible modifications, and dishes to avoid based on the restaurant's information.

The guest experience supports 10 languages. Language selection and dietary selection work together so guests can read the menu and discuss dish details in a way that is useful to them.

Keep the conversation connected to the kitchen

A filtered menu helps a guest identify what to ask about. It does not replace the conversation about shared equipment, substitutions, or changes made during service. Staff should confirm whether a proposed modification can be prepared for that order.

Disclose relevant cooking oils and cross-contact practices. If a guest needs information that the menu does not establish, ask the kitchen to clarify it before the guest decides what to order.

Review the menu when something changes

Update published dish information when a recipe, ingredient, supplier, or preparation method changes. Check the guest-facing page after making an update and confirm that staff understand the change.

You can explore the product tour to see both the restaurant and guest workflows. The pricing page explains current plans, and the trial request page explains how to get started with your restaurant's menu.
