Multilingual restaurant menus with dietary filters
Guests need to understand more than a dish name when choosing a meal. Can I Dine?™ combines multilingual menu information with allergy and dietary selections so the restaurant's published details can support the conversation at the table.
Ten languages in the guest experience
Guests can use English, Spanish, French, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Amharic. They open the restaurant's QR menu and choose their preferred language for the guest experience.
Language support helps guests read dish information and use the dietary-selection workflow. It does not establish that a dish meets a dietary need: the result still depends on the restaurant's ingredient and preparation information.
Combine language choice with dietary needs
A guest can select multiple allergies, choose dietary preferences, and enter custom ingredient restrictions. Suggested dishes, possible modifications, and avoid results help organize the menu around those selections.
Vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, keto, celiac, kosher, and halal needs involve different questions. Ingredient information can support a discussion, but it does not establish religious certification or replace confirmation about cross-contact and preparation.
Keep restaurant review at the center
Menu upload and translation help present information; restaurant teams remain responsible for checking the source details. Review components such as sauces, marinades, garnishes, and cooking oils, and record available modifications accurately.
When a translated term is unclear, clarify the underlying ingredient or preparation with the guest and kitchen. Do not treat the absence of a warning or a translated label as proof that a dish is suitable.
Plan for the service conversation
Make the QR menu easy to find and let staff know what information guests can see. Encourage guests to tell their server about restrictions and confirm any modification before ordering. Keep the restaurant's published menu current as recipes and suppliers change.
Explore the product tour for the guest and restaurant workflows. Review current plans or request a restaurant trial to evaluate the menu with your team.
